• One of the problems with braking on TT bikes is with internally routed brake cables - the cable route is often convoluted with several tight bends resulting in excess friction and poor braking performance. With a hydraulic system there is no 'cable friction' and tight bends in the routing of teh brake hose do not diminish braking performance.
