The Staff
Total Cycling evolved from "Mikes Bikes" in March 2000, when Mike
McLoone was joined by partner and uncle Patrick Doherty. The new
company name "Total Cycling" expressed clearly our aim to service all
cycling disciplines. Warehouse manager Adrian McDermott joined us in
August 2001 which coincided with a move to new 3000sqft premises at
Eglinton. Former All-Ireland junior Triathlon and Duathlon champion
Aaron Deane joined us in June 2003.

Total Cycling Race Team
In 2002 we began sponsoring an elite Irish amateur cycling team -
Total Cycling/ VC Glendale/ Merlin. 2004 riders include Tour of
Ireland winner Tommy Evans and former US based Ofoto Lombardi pro
David O'Loughlin. Frames and wheels are supplied by Litespeed. You can
read more about the achievements of our race team team here.
Our business today
Total Cycling started as an almost exclusively mail order business
selling a select range of high end components via our web site. Mail
order continues to be a large part of our business activity with the
same commitment to customer care.
We now have a retail store with typically over 100 frames in stock at
any time from Colnago, DeRosa, Look, Litespeed, Vitus, Time and
Tifosi. We have a huge inventory of parts, accessories and apparel.
With frames ranging in size from 45cm to 62cm and frame materials in
carbon, aluminum, titanium and steel we are confident we have
something for almost everyone.
Complete Bike Builds
The bikefitting.com bike set up system is available in store. We have
