The Mavic Cosmic Elite Road Wheelset (UST) features the aerodynamic perfomance output, rolling efficiency and stability that Cosmic Elite wheels are renowned for, but now with the added benefit of being Mavic UST Tubeless compatible and having wider rims to meet the demands of modern road cycling

Reduced Rolling Resistance with Increased Traction

The Road UST Tubeless system significantly reduces rolling resistance but increases traction and rider comfort. The rim features a 19mm inner width for optimised performance with a 25mm (25c) tyre. This provides a greater air volume, which results in a greater tyre contact patch with the road; resulting in greater grip in all riding conditions. An additional benefit is that as you are using a UST Tubeless setup and not using tubes, getting a flat is highly unlikely.

Technologies:

UST Tubeless Ready: The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort while reducing inertia and flats. The Tubeless Ready construction results in a lighter tyre for improved performance.

SUP (Soudé Usiné Process): After bending, the rim joint is arc welded. The welded seam is then milled for a smooth finish.

UB Control: The braking surfaces are precisely CNC machined to ensure consistent and reliable braking control.

FTS-L: Force Transfer System Light Reinforcement of key transmission components. The contact area between the pawl and the hub body is reinforced by two stainless steel inserts, which allows the use of a 100% aluminium hub body.

QRM (Qualité de Roulements Mavic): Mavic only uses high quality sealed cartridge bearings. On QRM wheels, they feature double sealing (2RS or LLU) together with tight C3 internal clearance.
