I've been riding this saddle for 18 years now and ... I don't even know I'm sitting on a bike. It's perfectly molded to my behind.
Not light weight, but I'm not a competitive cyclist.
I recently found a Brooks pro "classic" here at Total Cycling and bought it for my 2nd bike.
At first, I noticed the hard like a rock leather, but it wasn't too uncomfortable. Now, about 200 miles on the saddle, and it's completely broken in, but quite firm. I love it!
The saddle arrived in Los Angeles in about a week which surprised me pleasantly.
A word of caution about leather saddles: Don't let them get very wet, ever. Carry a baggie with you to cover the saddle when riding in rain.
So, all in all, my first Brooks Pro saddle lasted from 1976 until 2003. My second is on it's last legs now. Used from 2003 until 2021+. So... I'll soon be buying another.
