Last previous version of this jacket was called the Gabba long sleeve jacket.
They kept hearing so many people call the long-sleeve version of the Gabba "Perfect" so they renamed it the perfetto jersey and set about improving on perfection.
Castelli have improved the water-repellent finish so it will keep you drier without affecting breathability. They've refined the fit and laser cut the drain holes in the pockets. Also, Castelli have totally redone the splash flap on the rear of the jersey to make it lie flatter and fit better. Reflective logos on the back keep you visible.

The Castelli Perfetto Light Short Sleeve Jersey is the new game changer from Castelli. I'm sure the Castelli Gabba needs no introduction - it has become the wet weather racing garment for riders of all teams for a few years now and is an ideal jersey for typical British weather. The Castelli Perfetto Light Jersey uses this technology and thought process to create a new lighter more breathable version perfect for warmer wet days or cool dry summer days. The front is in the windproof and water resistant Windstopper 150 fabric (this fabric is approx. 20% lighter than the stuff in the Gabba) and then the back is in Nano Light fabric (like Nano Flex but a tighter weave and without the fleece lining) this gives the jersey a better fit, superior breathability, similar wind protection and only slightly less water resistance, when compared to the Gabba 2. So is the Perfetto a jersey that sits between the Fawesome vest and a Gabba - well sort of but then again not at all. What you will find is the Gabba being left for colder days and the Castelli Perfetto Light Short Sleeve jersey, pretty much being your jersey of choice from March till November.
Castelli make high performance technical cycling clothing. When choosing shorts or jerseys you should normally base your choice on chest and waist size. The clothing should fit snugly for aerodynamics but not restrict movement. Please refer to the charts below for fitting.
NB - you should normally pick one size smaller for armwarmers. If you use an XL jersey then chose a size L armwarmer.
