The Tacx Flux trainer is a compact and super realistic direct drive, interactive and maintenance free trainer, that's ideal for pro's all the way down. The trainer communicates 2 ways; from the trainer to your preferred device, and from the device to the trainer. It uses ANT+ and Bluetooth Smart for communication and can therefore be connected wirelessly to smartphones, tablets and computers. The ANT+ FE-C protocol enables you to train with Tacx apps as well as third-party apps such as Zwift and TrainerRoad. The swift response of the Smart electronics and the 7kg flywheel transmits the slightest fluctuations in resistance directly and accurately to your legs.

The Flux Smart works with an electro brake. By placing magnets and electro magnets beside a rotating aluminium disc, eddy currents are created which generate an opposing magnetic field. In this way a non-contact, maintenance-free brake is realised that is also super quiet. Thanks to the electro brake, a resistance can be set that you also experience on the road or in a climb. The Flux is compatible with all Shimano and SRAM 9, 10 and 11 speed cassettes; however, a selected amount of Campagnolo is compatible.
